Quick Facts: Glen Edition Part 2

Part 2 of a 3-part series. Click here for Part 1. Originally written for the ABA Buddy Book.

1) Who are you? How would you describe yourself? Your personality?

Hi! My name is Glen. I’m a second year interested in business and the media. I’m a friendly and relaxed person who enjoys good food and good conversation. I’m pretty athletic, but I also appreciate reading a good book. I’m a go-getter, but I make sure that I work with others along the way. I love to write. And a good nap never hurts.

2) If you suddenly became popular on YouTube overnight, what would it be for?

Probably for vlogs or reviewing food.

3) How did you find out about ABA? What convinced you to join & stay active?

As a freshman, I decided to check out the First General Meeting. I saw a group of fun yet professional people willing to help others grow socially and professionally. As time went by, I saw even more in this organization. I saw a community, dedication, and passion, and these have convinced me to stay active and to give back.

4) If you could be any candy, what would you be and why?

Pop Rocks. Calm, but fun in the right situations.

5) What is your favorite childhood memory?

Arby’s on the weekends with my mom.

6) What song would you sing for your audition on American Idol and why?

I would sing Mary Had a Little Lamb, because I’m really bad at singing and it’s only four notes. It’s pretty hard to mess up four notes.

7) If you died, how would you want people to remember you?

As a fun, considerate, and wise person who was able to make a difference in people’s lives.

8) If you could be anyone famous, who would it be?

Roger Ebert. Watch movies all day and write about them – and be famous for it? Sign me up.

9) What is something that you are most proud of accomplishing?

Reading War and Peace. All 1200 pages of it.

Have a story make it to the front page of The Daily Californian

10) If money didn’t matter, what would you do for a living?

I would travel around the world and write about my experiences. Or work as a writer for an automotive magazine and test the newest cars.
