Well, this is it. Thanks to all the wonderful support from my friends, I’ll be competing in the 10th Annual Mister Business tomorrow night. Words cannot express my excitement – looking forward to having an amazing time!
Just what is Mister Business? It’s one of the largest Haas events of the year, where each participating business organization or fraternity sends a male representative to compete in the pageant for the coveted Mister Business title.
Here’s a quick video from last year’s Mister Business to give you an idea of what it’s like:
I’ll admit I’m a terrible self-promoter, so I’ll just leave it at this:
Tickets are $12 at the door, and if you can make it I’d be really grateful for your support. Also this year, each contestant got to choose a charity of his choice – proceeds from the show will go towards the winner’s pick. The charity I chose is Reading is Fundamental, because reading is my passion, and I wholeheartedly support their mission:
“To motivate young children to read by working with them, their parents, and community members to make reading a fun and beneficial part of everyday life. RIF’s highest priority is reaching underserved children from birth to age 8.”
So think of it as a win-win. You’ll get to watch Glen make a fool of himself on stage, plus the money you spend on the ticket goes towards a good cause, regardless of who wins! Here’s the link to the Facebook event for more info.
