Had a pretty awesome weekend! In a nutshell:
On Friday, the Macy’s.com interns had a volunteer event. We went to the Presidio in SF to clear the area of invasive plant species, specifically acacia trees. It was fun chopping and sawing down the trees – some were pretty decently sized!
After finishing that event, I drove back to SoCal for the weekend to catch my home church’s annual summer conference at Pepperdine University in Malibu Beach.
After 1,000 miles of driving over the weekend (with a broken car AC, no less), managed to make it back to Berkeley around midnight to get some sleep before work on Monday.
