D.C. Trip 2012 – Day 4

Busy busy day today! It was the second day of our expo, and things were in full swing. A ton of people stopped by our booth, and I was comfortable enough with the info to be able to talk to them and answer their questions about our product.

I also got the chance to walk the conference grounds and talk to other exhibitors about Google Apps. Many were interested, and I even met a recent college grad who went to school in Virginia. We chatted about his experiences, recent trip to China, and the product he was selling, which was the coolest product at the show (at least in my book).

This product was an odorless toilet. That’s right. The company hollowed out the toilet seat, installed a tube that connects directly to the bathroom fans, and voila! Absolutely no odor…amazing.

Apart from talking to exhibitors about our product, I also made a schwag run around the expo area. My best catch was a foldable water bottle (you can roll it up once you finish the water, and it’s refillable).

I was beat by the end of the day, but the co-workers celebrated by stopping by a bar, eating dinner at a nice restaurant, and grabbing gelato on our way back to our hotel in Virginia.

That night, I watched a nail-biter of a basketball game with the Lakers beating OKC, and I promptly fell asleep. Great end to our last full day in D.C.
