I’ve made it a tradition to post Coachella lineups every year since the start of my blog, marvel at all the awesome bands that will be performing, then rue the fact that I don’t have the money/ride/time to go.
Well, this year might, just might, be different. I have a car. The festival will be held over two weekends, of which both I should be free.
Plus, Radiohead. How can I say no?
Other highlights for me: the Black Keys, M83, and Justice. Unlike a lot of people complaining about Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg, I think it’s pretty awesome that they’ll be there. If you’ve listened to their older stuff, you’ll know this is a rare treat.
Compared to 2010 and 2011, I’d say the overall lineup is a bit weaker, but on the few personal favorites alone, I’d be willing to make the trek. We’ll see how things turn out.
