Food Spotlight | Pasta Bene

I love it whenever I eat at another four-star Yelp restaurant at Berkeley. This one is called Pasta Bene and was originally recommended to me by my flatmate James.

I didn’t like it too much the first time (I ordered some vegetarian dish). I decided to give it another chance at our Publications committee reunion, only this time, I made sure that my order had meat in it.

I’m glad I gave it another shot, because the Chicken Picatta was delicious. Large portions with two pieces of garlic bread, pasta, and chicken breast with lemon-caper sauce and fettuccini.

The food was high-quality and fresh, the servers nice, and the place clean. I’m continually surprised by how nice a lot of the Telegraph restaurants are inside, despite its less-than-stellar surroundings outside. Goes to show that you can’t judge a book by its cover…or a good restaurant by its location.
