Weird Fishes/Arpeggi by Radiohead

I listen to music everyday. Very rarely does a song just make me stop whatever I’m doing, close my eyes, and concentrate solely on enjoying the music. Radiohead, my favorite band, has done it quite a few times.

I still remember that night during junior year of high school. I was reading something for school while propped up on the pillows of my bed, when “Weird Fishes/Arpeggi” came up on my music player.

It’s impossible to describe what I felt at the moment, but as I gently set down my book, closed my eyes, and bobbed my head to the music, I experienced what could only be described as pure bliss.

Tonight, the same thing happened again, and even though school and extracurriculars are quite a handful, I felt at ease. A flood of good memories came rushing back, and I was transported to that same room from high school once again.

Below is a clip of the song. I can’t guarantee that you’ll feel the same way about it, but take the time to listen to the intricacies and feel behind the actual music.
