Food Spotlight | Moodaepo II

Went to LA for some exceptionally good all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ. Moodaepo II is a more upscale restaurant – with huge TVs playing k-pop music videos, club lighting after 9 PM, and lots of open space.

For $17.99, you have a choice of over 12 kinds of meats. They bring four up at a time, and there is no limit to how much meat you can continue to get.

The place was definitely a step up from Mr. Lee’s, but what of the meat? Let’s just say we got there around 8 PM, and didn’t leave until closing time at 11 PM. While we didn’t try out every meat, we did order some notables such as beef brisket, bulgolgi, and my personal favorite, grilled beef rib meat.

The quality of the meat was top-notch. Service was a bit slow, but we had a really friendly waiter named Peter who brought us extra meat whenever we requested it, so that was cool.

At this point, I just want to crash. The food was delicious, definitely the best Korean BBQ I’ve had, and I plan to go back in the future. I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking. Good night, all!
