What’s Up | 06/23/10

Quick update of my summer at Cal. Today was the first day of my Media Studies 10 class. After two hours of work at The Daily Californian, I made the long trek over to North Gate Hall for class.

The classroom was smaller than average, built of wood and pretty warm. Our professor started off the class by telling us to call her Sarah. She had us answer some questions on note cards and introduced the class.

Great news: Sarah told us that her goal was to make this a fun class, a class where we’ll learn to see media in a more analytical light. We haven’t started coursework, but I’m liking school already.
