When I first came to Berkeley, I’d always hear how awesome the food at Clark Kerr was. Sadly, I was greatly disappointed throughout the year. Apparently, the CKC chef left, and now a lot of student-workers make the food.
It’s usually a hit-or-miss.
But during the weekends, CKC transforms into a delicious dining experience. Brunch runs from 10-2, and packed with kids chilling and enjoying really good food. Chicken strips, pancakes, scrambled eggs, waffles, ice cream, tater tots, you name it.
My favorite dessert? Vanilla frozen yogurt with a waffle smothered in maple syrup. Now that’s heavenly.
