University to Give All Students an iPad

Interesting tidbit of news: Seton Hill University of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, announced that starting Fall 2010, all full-time students will receive an Apple iPad.

Students will be able to download textbooks and take notes on their iPads, rendering their MacBooks nearly obsolete. Which they also receive at the beginning of the school year.

Students do pay a technology fee as part of tuition, but still, you gotta love those private universities…
