Dear Colima Burger Chili Cheese Fries,
It’s been a long time. The golden, crisp fries. The fresh chili. The melted cheese. The grilled onions. The sight that I constantly think about whenever I’m missing SoCal and reminiscing on the good old days of high school and SAT prep.
I rave to everyone I can about you. I tell them you are the hands-down, absolute best chili cheese fries on this planet. People go in to Colima Burger feeling skeptical. They come out not content, not satisfied, but simply enlightened.
You see, there’s just something about you. It must be the supersized portion. Or the grilled onions perfectly in-ratio with the chili and cheese. Whatever it is, it always makes my day.
Thanks for being there during junior and senior year. Thanks for always giving me food comas and saving me money on dinner. And most important, thanks for increasing my blood pressure and future risk of heart disease. Dying never felt this good.
Here’s to many more Colima Burger chili cheese fries runs. Sure, there may be In-N-Out and Chick-fil-A to satisfy my hunger for fast food whenever I’m at SoCal. But you’ll always hold that special place in my heart.
