Colima Burger + Pubs Basketball

Day three of spring break. Woke up at 11 am, got picked up by James, headed over to Walnut to grab my all-time favorite fast food, Colima Burger Chili Cheese Fries.

We met up with Kent at Colima Burger, enjoyed a satisfying lunch, and decided to drop by the Walnut Teen Center for a continuation of our basketball adventures.

The courts were empty. Nostalgia was in the air. This was where I played summer league back in middle school. Vivid pictures of practice, red and white jerseys, and my old teammates flashed in my mind.

We shot around to warm up. Pretty soon, we had a game of H-O-R-S-E going. Then on to 21. Nothing too intense. Just a relaxing afternoon playing ball with buddies and enjoying spring break.

Later on, I decided to drop by my high school’s swim practice, to make sure my little brother wasn’t being lazy and to say hi to my old coaches and teammates. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon.

I had a great time talking to my coaches and catching up with my old teammates. Apparently, swim team has improved a lot, which is definitely encouraging to hear. I also found out about some college decisions and the general consensus that senioritis was in full swing.

For dinner, I picked up some carry-out from Yummy House, a Taiwanese restaurant where I frequently ate last year. Of course, a visit to Yummy House would be incomplete without boba milk tea from $1 Drink next door.

Day three accomplished. Looking forward to a chill day tomorrow.
